What can I buy on Curtsy?
Curtsy is an app for women to buy and sell new, like-new, and gently-worn clothing. Curtsy is a great way to save 60-90% on your favorite brands. When you buy something on Curtsy, you’re buying it directly from the seller-- they’ll ship it to you within a few days after placing your order.
How does payment work?
Curtsy offers safe and easy payments for buyers and sellers. You can use any credit or debit card or Apple Pay to buy an item, and Curtsy holds the money until the seller ships the order before paying them for the sale.Learn more about checkout and payment
How does shipping work?
All items ship with express 2-4 day shipping. The price of shipping will be listed directly under the item price, so there are no suprise fees at checkout.
After you buy an item, we’ll email the seller a prepaid shipping label that they’ll use to ship the item. We ask all sellers to ship within 1-2 days of making a sale, and most do (some even same day!). If you’re worried an item won’t arrive on time we encourage you to message the seller and ask for a shipping ETA before you buy.
Sellers are paid after the tracking updates showing the order has been shipped.
You’ll be able to track your item after it ships through the app.
What’s the return policy?
Curtsy doesn’t offer returns-- all sales are final.
With that said, we guarantee buyers a full refund and free return if their item wasn’t described accurately by the seller.
After you buy an item it will move into your Curtsy Closet, where you can easily re-list it if it doesn’t fit or you don’t like it for any reason. If you re-sell it within a day or two after receiving it, just message us and we’ll refund you the seller fee-- so it’s like you got a full refund.
Can I ask sellers a question?
Yep! There’s a button on every item to “Ask the seller a question.”
Can I offer to buy the item less than the seller is asking?
Yep! All items have a "Make Offer" button. This will allow you to request to buy it at a lower price. Learn more about offers
