Antique, Victorian-era, Art Nouveau period gate top purse / handbag, sometimes known as a Beggar's Bag. With handle, flip-top lid on expandable accordion-like frame, and lined cloth bag. Black in color with gold accordion opening. The total length of the bag & frame is approximately 7". The strap drop of approximately 8.25". The neck of the frame expands from 2.25" across to 4.5" across. Lined; See picture. No cuts, holes, stains, tears, etc.
