Vintage Everitt-Buelow Women’s Wool Coat with Fur Collar (possibly mink, though unsure). This piece of Houston history, from the 1950s, was union-made and sold at the Everitt-Buelow store located at Main and Lamar in downtown Houston. The coat measures 44-45” at the chest, 50” at the waist/hip area, and 37” in length. The sleeves are 22-23” from shoulder to cuff. According to sizing I’d consider this a medium large but check measurements it’s your responsibility Please note: • The coat has noticeable stains on the back (see photos), which may come out with professional cleaning. • The fur collar shows some damage with the pelt splitting in places, but this is repairable or wearable as is—especially less visible if you have long hair. • The lining is detaching at the bottom, which doesn’t impact wear and can easily be fixed. A rare opportunity to own a timeless vintage coat from Houston’s fashion history! Perfect for a true vintage lover. This coat can be classified as a vintage swing coat or A-line coat due to its loose, flared fit. The style was popular in the 1950s and is characterized by a fuller shape through the body, often worn over dresses or skirts. The fur collar adds a touch of luxury, which was common in mid-century outerwear, giving it a classic, elegant look.
