Product Details Type: This is identified as a girdle rather than a full corset because it primarily targets the waist, hips, and tummy area for slimming and shaping, and all of the boning appears to run vertically. The open bottom design allows for movement and is characteristic of girdles from this era. Material & Color: It appears to be a peach or pale pink cotton or rayon blend fabric, possibly with a subtle brocade or damask pattern, and features elastic side panels for stretch and fit. Features: The garment has several vertical boning channels for structure, a side closure (likely hooks and eyes), and four adjustable elastic straps with metal garter clips at the bottom to attach to stockings. Era: Items with this style, fabric, and metal garter construction were very common from the 1940s to 1960s.
