These earrings measure about 7/8". Quite a thin clip but does hold; however, you may want to add an after market grip (not included) to increase grip as there is not much surface area. Gold tone to the front has a few dents and is not a overly bright gold tone. Light marks to rear area. Some marks to the rear and some tarnish and wear to the back of the earring where the clip rests when not worn. Some dents to the red area. Preowned vintage earrings, sold as shown - I am unsure of material type(s) because of this. Pictures show different angles for you to review - while I attempt to note any defects, some tarnish/signs of wear may be visible that are not otherwise stated.
