This is magical! Perfect for Mardi Gras, but not just Mardi Gras. From Hudson’s, a now defunct better department store, this vintage 80s 100% silk hook front round neck cropped sparkly bolero jacket is violet-purple raw silk that is heavily decorated all over with beading and sequins. The sequence is predominantly, iridescent blue-purple, gold, black, white, and a little bit of hot pink and green. The color way and bling factor definitely makes me think Mardi Gras. The detailing extends over the shoulders down each sleeve along the trim and all over the back. with shoulder pads. Polyester lining. Laying flat measures 18.5” shoulder to hem and 19” armpit to armpit. Tag size medium and featured on my size medium dress form, but would also fit a small well I would think. Check measurements. There is a small patch of black bugle beads missing around the back of the neck. The black on the violet is very difficult to see so it is not a glaring omission. I don’t really see any other obvious patches of missing sparkle. See photos
