Beautiful mid to late 1970s bag. Full grain black leather. Signature Coach tanned hide - very thick, sturdy leather. Unlined as is traditional with early Coach bags. Industrial brass zipper. Roomy interior with an inner zipper pocket. The slip pocket on the outside of the purse is divided into 2 compartments. Removable Strap with lobster claw clasp. Embossed 1970s creed. Serial # 205-7623. This bag pre-dates the use of style numbers on the creed label and instead has its own unique serial number. Companion bags (style #9300) were later modeled after this early version. Some marks and scratches which are natural for the age and type of leather. Patina at strap clasps and zipper tag due to the age of the brass hardware. In excellent vintage condition.
