This lovely tan skirt by MJ Concepts in Sportswear features a knee length pencil cut, front zipper and button closure, and belt loops. The fabric is 100% cotton, and it’s very soft and almost velvet-y. The ILGWU (International Ladies Garment Workers Union) tag dates the skirt to between ‘64 and ‘73. ILGWU, founded in 1900, was a major labor union representing women in the garment industry in the U.S. and Canada, and played a significant role in the labor movement. It was also one of the first U.S. unions with a predominantly female membership :) Waist measures 11 1/2 inches across, length is 26 3/4 inches from center of waistband to bottom hem. Sizing note - the size tag is a 3, but it fits like a modern U.S. Women’s XXS Petite - it is VERY small with no stretch, so please compare the above measurements with something you own to ensure it will fit :) In excellent pre-owned condition.
