This is a Victorian Revival mesh slide bracelet, likely dating from the mid-20th century. It features a wide, gold-tone mesh band with an ornate central plaque holding a black glass or onyx cabochon, and is finished with decorative metal tassels. The design mimics the popular "slide bracelets" of the late Victorian era which often had a central element that slid along the mesh band. It appears to be gold-tone costume jewelry, possibly with a black glass stone intended to resemble black onyx. The wide textured mesh band is characteristic of the style, as are the decorative tassels dangling from the center and the intricate metalwork around the central stone.
