M Down is still fluffy and insulating, very warm. Tip for fluffing up the down in the future, put in dryer, NO heat with a couple tennis balls. Fluffs it right back up in 10 minutes. There are some areas like the elbows, pocket edges and zipper area where the matte finish is rubbing off, see photos (shiny areas). This does not affect coat’s function, it’s as warm as the day I bought it.
