My vintage A.J. Bari two-piece suit set, fulling lined with shoulder pads, featuring a short-sleeved jacket/top and matching mini skirt. The top is designed with a floral rose patterned sequined upper section and a solid black lower section with a 4-button closures; all buttons are still attached and in good condition. When buttoned, it can be a shirt, when it’s unbuttoned it can be worn as a jacket. The skirt is a simple black pencil skirt with two slits at the hem, lined, with a hook & eye and zipper closure. Preowned by me and very good condition. A.J. Bari is known for special occasion and evening wear, often incorporating embellishments like sequins and beads. This suit dates back to the 1980s. I purchased it at Sugar Boutique in Brooklyn, NY and wore it until the 90’s. Dry clean only, made in Korea of 100% cotton. Jacket/top: size 10, shoulder to shoulder 16”, pit to pit 18”, neck to hem 22”. Skirt: size 10, waist 26”, length 19.5”, slit length 3.5”. Black body with purple, orange, yellow and green design covered in clear disc sequins. *Please note: even though it’s cotton, it’s not a stretch fabric. **Secondhand clothing may retain minor imperfections throughout including residual scent from storage and age.
