So, I have been doing the Lagenlook thing for over a decade, and I still love it. Then I saw Magnolia Pearl online, and fell in love. Lagenlook with ruffles! But, it’s way out of my price range. While searching for something comparable, I came across Inge De Jonge. An award winning designer from France, inspired by 1920’s, 40’s, and 50’s clothing. She works small batch, everything is sewn by hand with local seamstresses, using plant based, often organic French fabrics. She’s upcycling, and using vintage forgotten fabric that she finds. Very sustainable! And the whole French farmhouse, shabby chic, peasant vibe. This blouse is called Bathild. It’s 100% linen, off white and a coral-ish print for the trim. It was sold to me as a 46, or an XL, and that’s what it says in the hang tag. But, it’s actually a 36, or small, which it says on the inside tag. 30 inches long 21 inches wide
