A vintage "double decker" Navajo artist-made sterling ring with two slightly oval startlingly blue Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabochons in mirror image settings. The very slightly domed stones are almost clear except for a small vein of matrix in each. The turquoise are sawtooth bezel-set with a raised feather on the side and a border of silver beads, all with an oxidized background. The profile is low so the ring is secure and comfortable to wear. The backside is flat, solid silver. It has a double band which splits to support the top of the ring. It measures 1 1/4" knuckle to knuckle and rises 4mm above the finger. Weight is 7.3 grams. It is size 10 and can only be re-sized by a good jeweler because of the double band.
