This vintage Capricorn zodiac pendant is a striking example of brutalist artisan jewelry. The sculptural goat, with its exaggerated horns and textured ribbed body, is rendered in a raw, expressive style that perfectly captures mid-century brutalist design. It’s framed inside a hand-finished openwork medallion, creating a bold architectural silhouette that feels more like wearable art than costume jewelry. Suspended from a substantial vintage chain with an early spring-ring clasp, this piece dates to the late 1960s–1970s when brutalist gold-tone medallions were at their height in European and studio-made jewelry. The riveted center figure adds dimensional movement, a hallmark of small-batch artisan work. Perfect for collectors of zodiac jewelry, MCM design, dramatic statement pieces, or anyone who loves the imperfect, emotional texture of true brutalist craftsmanship. Unique, expressive, and beautifully uncommon. Light, expected vintage patina adds character. The astrological sign, Capricorn the goat (December 22nd- January 19th) is displayed in the center of a 2¾” in diameter clear acrylic circle. The pendant is encircled by a beautiful gold-tone open work frame. The large link chain measures approximately 18".
