Wore this for prom in 2023, that was the only time the dress was worn. It’s a corset top with a zipper and has built in padding. I got a hem and bustle sewn in to help with the long train. There is no slit and is a velvety material under the beading. This dress was super comfortable to wear, would recommend for a formal dance or event.
