* Late 1980s, early 1990s quilted velvet/velour parka-style coat * Carmine red, black, gold hardware * Convertible collar * Front zipper closure with button placket and 6 plastic buttons (last button missing) * Raglan sleeves w/ lightly padded round shoulders * Long sleeves w/ 1-button belted cuff * 2 button flap patch hip pockets * Drawstring collar & hem w/ brass toggles and endcaps * Fully lined in satin * 77% cotton, 23% rayon, * 100% polyester interlining, 100% rayon lining * Margaretha Ley label, Made in Germany * Medium/Large (marked size 40) Flaws: minor wear to elbows, small discoloration at front near pocket, there is also a faint smoke smell. I let it air outside for awhile & it did drastically remove most of the smell but it is still slightly present. I have not tried to treat the discoloration as I’m afraid of ruining the velvet.
