The process they use is called electroforming. Simply, it involves a wax mold being submerged into a bath of sterling silver. The mold is removed after a few layers of silver develop. The cast is removed and the jewelry is then hand polished and ready for wear. As with all sterling silver, exposure to air, water and chemicals can expedite the natural oxidation process. Wipe your sterling silver jewelry after use with a polishing cloth and store it in an airtight jewelry bag as to lessen the oxidation, tarnish buildup on your jewelry.
