Really great condition for the ages. Some normal wear. the seams have been completely reinforced. The original thread was so old and fragile the seams were coming apart - so I had every seem re-sewn. Woven decorative brass button. Faux raw hem cuffs. Petite linear pattern throughout. No rips, or defects. Thick beautiful cashmere. Please use the measurements provided as there is no size tag. The Dalton 100% Virgin Cashmere sweater with the WPL (Wool Products Labeling Act) number 1765 likely dates from the period when these numbers were issued by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). ®WL numbers were issued between 1941 and 1959. Dalton was primarily known for its high-quality cashmere sweaters from its founding in 1949 and its eventual closure in 1986, and WPL 1765 falls within the initial issuance period, the sweater is a vintage piece from the mid-20th century.
