Proenza Schouler $1950 2 High Slit Midi Skirt Peplum Poppy Cream White Red Black

This midi skirt is still for sale in Neiman Marcus right now. It’s by luxury clothing designer Proenza Schouler for size 2. The skirt is sold out on the Proenza Schouler website, but is still available on the Neiman Marcus website. It originally retailed for $1950. There is a flaw! The Aline skirt features voluminous high slits on the front and back that are signatures of that collection. The slits are finished with scalloped edges. The fabric combined 2 sheer chiffon layers into a textural jacquard, a medium weight crepe that’s almost quilted. (Linen/viscose/silk/polyamide) It’s cream colored with a charming modern digital print or graphic. I thought this skirt was in excellent condition, until I saw a closeup of the material. Look at my closeup of the fabric and Proenza Schuler’s closeup. It looks different. More separation between the fibers on the inside.
