Stunning metal mesh mini bag from Whiting & Davis, around the time legendary French couturier Elsa Schiaparelli introduced new designs to their catalog. Gold-tone flat metal mesh exterior. Unstructured pouch silhouette with Art- Deco frame and tab clasp. Hinged frame opening. Orange satin lining attached by rings to gold-tone frame. "Mesh Whiting & Davis Co Bags" logo stamped on frame. White fabric label tag stitched to lining. Original gold-tone metal chain strap tucks inside bag to become coin purse. Made in USA.
