How can we help?

How does shipping work for sellers?

On Curtsy, you decide who pays for shipping. You can adjust shipping settings when listing by tapping the price of your item.

When listing an item you choose whether to cover the cost of shipping and have it deducted from your earnings or have shoppers pay extra for shipping at checkout. We recommend making shipping free for buyers to help your items sell faster, but this is optional.

After your item sells, we'll email you a prepaid label to ship your item. If you don't have a printer for your label, no worries - you can have your label printed at the Post Office for free with a QR code.

Heads up on QR codes: New QR codes can take approximately one to two hours to become scannable at USPS. If the Post Office says a newly generated QR code has not been paid for, wait one to two hours and try the same code again. If it still does not work, do not buy additional postage—contact Curtsy Support.

From there, you'll package up your item in any small box or envelope- we recommend reusing something like an old Amazon box. You can give your package to USPS or schedule a free USPS pick up. You'll mark your item as shipped in the app and get paid as soon as tracking updates.* From there you can cash out to a debit card or bank account.

Curtsy's labels cannot be used with the USPS 'Flat Rate' Priority Mail boxes or envelopes. They have started cracking down on this recently and have been charging surcharges for improper use of their supplies.

*You might not receive instant payment upon shipping if you sold a luxury item or you're a new seller. See the luxury item FAQ for payment details on luxury brands.
