Hot Takes: 🎃Trending Halloween Costumes 👻

For some Curtsy Babes, Halloween is our superbowl. While the rest of us need a little help picking out killer costumes that don’t have people asking, “What are you?”. “I’m a mouse, duh” 🐭. Halloween majorly ghosted 👻 us in 2020 thanks to the Covid House of Horrors💀. Make up for last year by going all out for the ultimate 🔥 Hot Girl Halloween 2021🔥 by dressing up in a trending Halloween costume.

You can look to Curtsy to take the “trick” out of “trick or treat'' 🍫 when it comes to costume shopping. We’ve curated an easily shoppable list of Spooky Selections on the app. But first, scroll through some inspo of scary-good trending costumes below. Then, shop til you drop on Curtsy.

Couple Up 👯‍♀️

Duo costumes are always majorly trending Halloween costumes, because two is better than one. Here’s your sign to make your relationship Halloween official by matching with your boo, or double the trouble with your trusted bestie sidekick.

That’s So ‘70s ✌️✌️

The ‘70s were all about wide legs and cropped tops. Anyone else having déjà vu? Sounds a lot like half of my closet rn. Go oh so retro for Halloween this year with a flashback to the 1970s.

👧Bad A** Females👧😎

We live for a good cultural reference and every year our binge watching gives us major costume inspo. It’s so much fun transforming the big screen 📺 🎥 into IRL screams for Halloween. Binge on these crowd pleasing costumes - this year’s theme being bada** female characters.

For vixen vibes go with Margot Robbie in Wolf of Wall Street or Megan Fox à la 🩸Jennifer’s Body🩸. Looking to keep it cute and classy? Try on the classics of Clueless, 13 Going on 30, or kick some butt as any of the Powerpuff Girls👧.

Space Cowgirl 🤠

One of our fave trending Halloween costumes is cowgirl meets rave, aka Space Cowgirl. How to nail the Space Cowgirl look? Make your typical cowgirl costume out of this world 🌎 by adding metallics, sequins and glitter ✨✨.

Barbie 💝👛

Life in plastic, it’s fantastic. See if plastics really do have more fun by going full on doll. All you need is a pink bodysuit and heels. Which should pair nicely with your bubbly personality. You’ll get bonus points if you show up with a matching Ken👨‍🦱!
